> Excellent network
The association offers an excellent and influential network of 200 members around Europe. One can imagine that this big pool of R&D actors in embedded systems has proven its importance to the members since the establisment in 2007 till now. And it is not only a short term motivation to become a member just because the ones sitting next to the fire of information and strategy have a proven increased chance to be succesfull in the ARTEMIS calls. Joining the ARTEMIS network makes you visible to each other for the exchange of technology ideas, cross-fertilisation as well as for radical innovation initiatives. As a member you can target directly the ones that you want to cooperate with in collaborative research. The members are organised in chamber and each chamber has a coordinator. The SMEs find each other in Chamber A. The Research Organisations are gathered in Chamber B. The Large Enterprises are organised in Chamber C. Check it out at the member status.

> Industry in the driving seat of innovation
The ARTEMIS Industry Association is responsible for the preparation of the ARTEMIS-JU Multi Annual Strategic Plan, associated Research Agenda and the Annual Work Programme that define the strategy and technical content for the calls for project proposals. A strong European Embedded Systems strategy , defined and driven by a unified industrial forum, is necessary to convince Public Authorities and the European Commission to support economically crucial R&D programmes. ARTEMIS is such a programme, and the ARTEMIS Industry Association is the body that represents and continuously promotes the R&D interests of its members at the European Commission and the Public Authorities of the Member States.

> Shape the future in embedded systems
The ARTEMIS programme is an industry driven and industry led programme. The stakeholders in the ARTEMIS Joint Undertaking adopt a commonly agreed research agenda closely following the recommendations of the Strategic Research Agenda developed by the members of ARTEMIS Industry Association. This research agenda will be implemented through Calls for innovative project proposals. The Industry Association organises each year the ARTEMIS-IA Summer Camp where the research strategy for the next call will be explored and where the SRA is recalibrated. The ARTEMIS Summer Camp is only accessibel for members.Next to this the members share the responsibility to continue the ARTEMIS programme to help European industry consolidate and reinforce its world leadership in embedded computing technologies.

> Free entrance to events
The ARTEMIS-IA Office supports the members by organising multiple networking events and advices you in becoming visible in the ARTEMIS network. As a member you may participate in the Summer Camp a highly strategic event that is only accessible by the members of the Industry Association. In the ARTEMIS-IA Summer Camp, the members define the input for the strategy for the calls and recalibration of the Strategic Research Agenda for Europe. Next to this members have free participation in the ARTEMIS-IA events such as the Co-summit events in Autumn, the ARTEMIS Spring Event, Brokerage Event, work shops and so on. > First in line with information
The ARTEMIS Office takes care that the members get the relevant information (think of calls and events) first in line. As a service , the member representatives receive an e-Newsletter each 6 weeks and the 2 times a year the ARTEMIS.  Next to this, the members can enter a special area on the website in which they have entrance to a special communication platform and where they have entrance to the information of and about the working groups, steering board and presidium. The association is the meeting and communication platform where the members can find each other easily.
